How to Make a Cake from Scratch Decorator Tips: Make sure to get your cake ready to go in the refrigerator, as refrigeration is essential for the cake to stay fresh and fresh.
You can find a number of free cake decorater kits online.
Place your cake on a cake rack and set the counter aside.
Cut a piece of white cake paper.
This will be used to tie off the ends of the cake for decorating purposes.
Using a knife, cut a piece about the size of a dime for the ends.
Make a strip of parchment paper about the same size as the paper.
Use a knife to carefully cut a strip to fit around the paper strip.
Once your cake paper is cut, you can either use the template to cut the piece out, or you can just make a few more slices.
It’s important that the cake ends are tied off so the decorator can’t cut through the cake itself.
Next, wrap the piece of parchment around the ends and attach it to the piece you cut out.
I used a piece that was about 2 inches wide and cut it out using a kitchen scissors.
Now, you’re ready to cut out the top of the template and the bottom.
This is the part where you’re going to attach your piece of paper to the other end of the parchment paper.
You will be making several strips of parchment.
Take a piece and trim off about half of the excess paper.
You will need to make two strips of this piece, one for each end of your parchment paper and one for the end of each piece of the paper that you have cut out from the parchment.
Take a pair of scissors and cut out two strips from each strip of paper.
I used a pair for the top and bottom of my parchment paper, and I used one for all the sides.
Continue to trim out all the excess parchment paper from the bottom and top of your template.
Now you will want to tie these strips together.
Take a pair and cut each one in half, one by one, and make sure they’re tied into place.
Put your parchment on the other side of the strips and then fold them over, making sure the two pieces are perfectly aligned.
Stuff your parchment with your new parchment paper strips.
And then place the cake on the cake rack.
Here’s how to decorating the cake: Cut out a piece from the top sheet of paper that’s about the length of your cookie cutter.
Start cutting out the strip that’s on the bottom of the sheet of parchment, making a circle around the circle you just cut.
Attach it to one end of another strip of white paper, the one that’s already attached to the sheet.
Then, fold the white paper over.
Tie your two strips together using a knife.
This whole process takes about 45 minutes.
As long as you have all of the extra pieces that you trimmed and attached, you will have your cake for a wedding party!
